So here's the deal...the two oldest munchkins have been sharing a room for the past year, and just recently (ie the past month) my husband moved Tiny in as well. This has created ALL SORTS OF EXCITEMENT...They giggle and sing for at least an hour before falling asleep. We wish we could have a Nanny-cam in their room just to see what they're laughing about! Anyway, last night my husband and I tiptoed to their door and listened for a few minutes. They were all busting a gut, when we heard our oldest say, "Budd-ah, Buddah! If you can't do it hard enough, just use your head!"

ReplyDeleteThis really reminded me of my sisters and I in our room at night. I have no idea how long we'd stay awake after "bedtime." But it was long. And I'm sure anyone putting an ear up to the door would've wondered WTH, too. I remember one night very specifically when my youngest sister (who was five at the time) kept coming up with these totally off the wall "what if" questions--like what if grass was purple, etc. To this day, every once in a while, one of us older sisters will look at her and say, "What if the moon was square?" and crack up. She finds it slightly less amusing than we do, and I can just imagine "If you can't do it hard enough, just use your head!" coming back to haunt your kids later.
