Genie in a Bottle

Damn the Man. To hell with the man. That's what I say! You know why?? Because I don't have a job! That's right folks, Little Miss is no longer a working woman. Whew. I feel like the Genie who's just been released from his "itty bitty living space," tired of always saying, "POOF! what do you need? POOF! What do you need? POOF! what do you need?!" I'm no longer chained to that damn job, and it feels GREAT!

Having said all of that, I truly did enjoy my job. (Just not the complete idiots I worked for!) The only problem is now...well, um...that I don't have a job! I didn't plan on quitting my job, nor did I think I'd get fired, so ending our "relationship" (as my boss called it) on amicable terms this morning came as quite a shock to us both, but I'm glad it ended. It's as though this was an answer to a prayer I didn't even know I was asking. This is a good thing.

Now I guess the only question is what I should do with all of my free time...?
; )

  3. So...what happened???
Did you quit or did the idiots fire you?

Glad you are happy with the change though. It didn't really sound like it was something you were entirely happy with to begin with...

  5. What's with people thinking that it makes it easier to say "end our relationship" or "let you go" or "terminate your position" ... I mean, have some balls and tell someone "I'm sorry, you're fired." That's what they mean, why not just come out and say it!?!? Quit dancing around the subject at hand!

But anyway, I'm sorry you don't have a job anymore. But I'm glad that you're looking at it as a positive thing. Good things are headed your way!

  8. She didn't get fired. During the review process it became evident that this wasn't the place for the little miss. They did things a certain way, a certain unethical way and they weren't gonna change just for the little miss. It was mutally agreed that this just wasn't an environment that she would ever be happy in so her boss agreed to accept her resignation. This is a good thing, if she wants to work, there are 4 other hospital, much more reputable hospitals in this damn town. I've been telling her that for weeks.

  10. Erika's comment cleared some stuff up (Mainly, "Who the freak would fire HER????!!!). I think you are better being free of them.

    Eat chocolate for awhile.

As my mom would say, "They're just jealous of you!"

  12. WOWOWO! I'm glad you're happy with the decision. I'm fighting this right now. To work or not to work.

I mean, wouldn't anyone be happy to NOT have to work? Right?

Let me know if you miss it. I'm scared to stop.
