Preschool Field Trip
On another note, there could be a little too much Diet Dr. Pepper being consumed by our preschool teachers...note Ms. L stumblin' all over the place and trying to act sober!!
I tried to convince Tiny that we finally found her birth parents (see monkey in the background), but she just wouldn't fall for it. She's too smart, even for her own good!
In the end, we got to see some dancing elephants, climbing monkeys, loud parrots that repeat everything you say...oh, and we also got to see some animals at the zoo! (ba-dum, bump!) And finally, a big round of applause goes to Erika for finally giving up her free ride to the less fortunate members of our group. (Way to take one for the team BFB!)

What Word Starts With...?
We were on the letter "Q" and we already mentioned queen, quack, quilt, and quick when I just blurted out "queer." She immediately sat up and said, "mommy, what's queer?" And in my attempt to give her the PC definition (not THAT one), I said, "it means happy or gay." I used it in a sentence, she absorbed the new information, and we moved on.
*yes, I understand what I actually said an hour later when I was telling my husband how proud I was of teaching her what queer means without laughing. Umm...I just got queer and gay a little mixed up, but I knew that gay also meant happy, and well now I'm just shoving my foot in my mouth all over again (but laughing hysterically about it) Moving on...
I also noticed during our little game that I kept thinking of all the naughty words. It just came to my mind without a second thought. "mommy, what's the letter D start with?" (I know, she gets her questions turned around, but we all know what she meant so just shut up and think she's as cute as I do, ok?) Anyway, I'm like, um...dick, dumb, dingleberry, dork, dildo (at which point I skip my turn and let her continue, all the while she has NO IDEA why I'm laughing!) Then she went to "F", and I totally pled the fifth!
Have I mentioned my lack of sleep? Well, I haven't had much sleep this past week.

To Sum Up My Morning At Work:
"Great spirits have always found violent opposition from mediocre minds."
I'd also like to add to that the Serenity Prayer:

A picture, a memo, and a laugh...ENJOY
Anyway, I just wanted to let blogworld know that I am NOT moving my address AGAIN. The Life of Little Miss is here to stay. I will delete inappropriate comments, I will monitor IP addresses on my website, (as well as the length of time one spends on my site), and rest assured, that if I feel even the least bit bothered by any of it...I will call you out on my blog. I will not be intimidated, and I will not be coerced into censoring MY OWN WEBSITE.
Now, having said all of that...I am open to the public once again. If you read me, (and want to keep me) feel free to link away. I enjoy reading blogs, and I enjoy reading everyone's comments. I'm here to stay, so KISS MY ASS. (that's my way of expressing love, it's ALL good!)
And continuing to express my love, here's a story!
So my sister in law came to visit us. She arrived on Saturday, (the same day as my new haircut, mind you), and she was asleep by the time I got home from work. Well, feeling all sexy and having not seen my husband much the past few days...
the next morning, I set kids up with their usual breakfast (dry cereal and sippy cups of milk) with cartoons on in the background so I could go back to bed for a while. An hour or two later, we were all getting ready for church. My sister in law was helping Sweetie (the four year old) get her tights on when she said, "hey Aunt M, this morning when my mommy got out of bed to get us some Cheerios and milk, she had on my daddy's blanket and nothing underneath!!" (giggling to herself).
Um, Sweetie, thank you very much! Of all the random things you could come up with, THIS is what you chose to share with your Aunt. Way to go babe, that's my girl!

I Want You To Want Me...
*k, so just because the pictures are blurry doesn't mean I'm a blurry person. Erika's just a bad photographer. (mix that with an unphotogenic subject, and this is what you get)
*btw, we TOTALLY did NOT skip Sunday school for this photo shoot.

Because It's My Job
"Babe?" (hubby calling from the other room)
to the dog:
I think daddy wants us to get up...
"BABE?!"... (children now yelling in the background)
yes, Kashka, I have to get up and be the mom, and you have to get up and be the dog.
still looking at me like I'm crazy...
because THAT'S our job, now move!
p.s. the song on my sidebar is dedicated to my daughter; we have been singing it all week!
